Kyle Waddell (Hamilton, SCO) qualified for the 2024 Aberdeen International Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-4 against Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO). of the 2024 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland, Scotland;

Waddell finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Waddell lost 7-6 to Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO), then responded with a 8-3 win over Jan Iseli (Solothun, SUI). Waddell won 5-1 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI), then won 7-6 against Shinya Abe (Sapporo, JPN) and 4-3 against Orrin Carson (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Waddell earned 16.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Aberdeen International Curling Championship, remaining in 20th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 0.5 after improving upon their best so far this season.
