Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI) lost 6-5 to Alex Champ (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the KW Fall Classic, held September 14 - 17 at the K-W Granite Club in Waterloo, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Stocker won 7-3 over Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC) in the semifinals of the KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-2 over Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NONT) in the quarterfinals. of the KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada;
Stocker finished 3-0 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stocker defeated Zackary Wise (Montreal , QC) 7-2, then won 5-3 against Ian Dickie (Kitchener, ON) and 7-2 against Asselin in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Stocker take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize, remaining in 38th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 12 after improving upon their best so far this season. Stocker ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.000 points earned so far this season.
