To advance to the championship game, Maeda won 8-2 over Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 9-3 over Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
Maeda finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maeda defeated Jace Freeman (Virden, MB) 7-5, then won 8-6 against Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN). Maeda went on to lose 6-3 against Wiebe. Maeda responded with a 9-4 win over Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic Championship title, Maeda earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $1,700CDN first prize cheque. Maeda move up 8 spots after posting a net gain of 9 points improving upon their best 2 results so far this season, ranking 80th overall with 45.000 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Maeda ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.500 points earned so far this season.
