Schwaller finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Roxanne Heritier (Luzern, SUI) 6-5, then won 5-3 against Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR). Schwaller went on to lose 6-5 against Fay Henderson (Stirling, GBR). Schwaller responded with a 4-1 win over Moa Dryburgh (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Danish Open Championship title, Schwaller earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. Schwaller move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 18.75 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 28th overall with 138.531 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Schwaller ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 83.375 points earned so far this season.
