Bruce Mouat (STIRLING, SCO) run at the 2024 Astec Safety Challenge came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-4 loss to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). of the 2024 Astec Safety Challenge in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada; Mouat advanced through the quarterfinals with a 8-5 win over Brendan Bottcher (Calgary, AB).
 
Mouat finished 3-0 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Tyson Armstrong (Lloydminster, AB) 6-2, then won 8-5 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-5 against Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mouat earned 29.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Astec Safety Challenge. Mouat move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 22.25 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 3rd overall with 362.062 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
