To advance to the championship game, Van Ryssel won 8-5 over Bethany Allan (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2023 Morris MJCT Spring Spiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;

Van Ryssel finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Van Ryssel defeated Rylie Buchalter (Winnipeg, MB) 6-3, then won 5-3 against Karys Buchalter (Winnipeg, MB) and 5-2 against Shaela Hayward (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Van Ryssel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
