Josie Zimmerman (Camrose, AB) won 5-4 over Claire Randell (Welland, ON) in the Final of the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships, held March 15 - 19, 2023 in Sudbury, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Zimmerman won 11-5 over Meaghan Mallett (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals

Zimmerman are currently 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zimmerman lost 6-2 to Gabby Wood (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 21-2 win over Jayna Petingalo (Sault Ste Marie, ON). Zimmerman went on to lose 6-4 against Mallett. Zimmerman responded with a 14-8 win over Bayly Scoffin (Calgary, AB). Zimmerman won 10-4 against Kaylee Raniseth (Red Deer, AB), then won 7-5 against Veronica Van Broekhoven (London, ON). In their next game, Zimmerman plays.

For winning the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships Championship title, Zimmerman earned 7.500 world rankings points. For week 33 of the event schedule, Zimmerman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Zimmerman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
