Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO) finished 4-3 in the 8 team Scottish Curling Championships qualifying round, held February 6 - 12, 2023 at the Dumfries Ice Bowl in Dumfries, Scotland. In their opening game, Henderson lost 6-3 to Emma Barr (Stirling, SCO), then responded with a 8-6 win over Lesley Young (Stirling, SCO). Henderson won 8-2 against Amy Mitchell (Greenacres, SCO), then won 10-7 against Beth Farmer (Stirling, SCO). Henderson went on to lose 8-3 against Rebecca Morrison (Stirling, SCO). Henderson lost 9-2 to Lucy Blair (Stirling, SCO) where Henderson responded with a 6-3 win over Jodi Bass (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Henderson earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 72nd place overall with 41.514 total points. Henderson ranks 72nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.875 points earned so far this season.
