Greg Skauge (Yellowknife, NT) lost 11-3 to Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) in the Final To advance to the championship game, Skauge won 5-4 over D'arcy Delorey (Hay River, NT) in the semifinals of the 2023 Northwest Territories Mens Championship in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, Canada;
 
Skauge finished 4-2 in the 4 team Northwest Territories Mens Championship qualifying round, held February 1 - 5, 2023 at the Fort Smith Curling Club in Fort Smith, Canada. In their opening game, Skauge defeated Kevin Hawkshaw (Fort Smith, NT) 8-6, then won 8-4 against Delorey. Skauge went on to lose 11-5 against Koe. Skauge lost 8-2 to Koe where Skauge responded with a 8-3 win over Delorey. Skauge won 6-3 against Hawkshaw in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Northwest Territories Mens Championship, Skauge take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 27 of the event schedule, Skauge did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Skauge ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
