Kerri Einarson (Gimli, CAN) won 10-4 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, held February 17 - 26, 2023 in Kamloops, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 7-5 over Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) in the semifinals of the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kamloops, British Columbia;
Einarson finished 8-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Laurie St-Georges (Laval-sur-la-Lac, QC) 11-8, then won 9-4 against Clancy Grandy (Vancouver, BC) and 10-9 against Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB). Einarson won 9-3 against Suzanne Birt (Summerside, PEI), then won 9-4 against Christina Black (Halifax, NS) and 10-3 against Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK). Einarson won 9-8 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB), then won 11-3 against Brigitte MacPhail (Iqaluit, NU) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Einarson earned 75.000 world rankings points, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 53.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Einarson ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 359.750 points earned so far this season.
