In their opening game, Flaxey defeated Tori Zemmelink (Navan, ON) 7-6, then went on to lose 7-0 against Susan Froud (Alliston, ON). Flaxey responded with a 9-5 win over Abby Deschene (Acton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Flaxey earned 8.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ontario Scotties Open Qualifier. For week 23 of the event schedule, Flaxey did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Flaxey ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
