In their opening game, Manuel lost 10-7 to Peter Burgess (Truro, NS), then responded with a 8-5 win over Travis Colter (Halifax, NS). Manuel won 10-9 against Glen MacLeod (Truro, NS), then won 8-3 against Burgess and 10-9 against Paul Flemming (Halifax, NS). Manuel won 6-3 against Purcell, then won 10-5 against Colter and 10-5 against Flemming in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Nova Scotia Tankard Championship title, Manuel earned 15.000 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Manuel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Manuel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
