In their opening game, Hudy lost 10-2 to Keith Ryan (Labrador City, NL), droppimg another game, 10-2 to Randy Bryden (Regina, SK). Hudy lost 7-5 to James Pahl (Sherwood Park, AB). Hudy lost 11-2 to Phil Gorveatt (Montague, PEI). Hudy lost 10-1 to Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB). Hudy lost 6-4 to Randy Neufeld (La Salla, MB). Hudy lost 7-2 to Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, NONT) where Hudy responded with a 7-3 win over Peter Mackey (Iqaluit, NU). Hudy went on to lose 8-4 against Terry Miller (Whitehorse, YK) in their final qualifying round match.
