Park Runner-Up at 2022 Fredericton Mixed Doubles

Shaelyn Park (Moncton, NB) lost 9-4 to Melissa Adams (Moncton, NB) in the Final of the Fredericton Mixed Doubles, held October 21 - 23, 2022 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. To advance to the championship game, Park won 6-4 over Jenny White (Charlottetown, PEI) in the semifinals

Park finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Park lost 9-2 to Adams, then responded with a 8-2 win over New Brunswick's Abigail Holmes. Park won 7-2 against Marlise Carter (Oromocto, NB), then won 8-2 against Marlee Powers (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Fredericton Mixed Doubles, Park take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $450CDN prize. For week 12 of the event schedule, Park did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Park ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
