Adams finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Adams defeated Park 9-2, then won 8-4 against Marlise Carter (Oromocto, NB). Adams went on to lose 9-4 against Marlee Powers (Halifax, NS). Adams responded with a 10-2 win over New Brunswick's Abigail Holmes in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Fredericton Mixed Doubles Championship title, Adams earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $600CDN first prize cheque.
