Kimberly Tuck/Wayne Tuck (Strathroy, ON) finished 2-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tuck/Tuck defeated Audrey Laplante/Jasmin Gibeau (Outaouais, QC) 10-4, then won 9-2 against Zuzana Paulova/Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE). Tuck/Tuck went on to lose 11-10 against Bobbie Sauder/Kerr Drummond (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Tuck/Tuck earned 5.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 9 of the event schedule, Tuck/Tuck did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tuck/Tuck ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
