Epping finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping lost 7-6 to Bryce Everist (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 8-3 win over Jack Smeltzer (Fredericton, NB). Epping won 5-4 against Ryan Abraham (Halifax, NS), then won 7-4 against Nathan Young (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic Championship title, Epping earned 26.250 world rankings points along with the $7,500CDN first prize cheque.
