Edin finished 3-1 in the 20 team Stu Sells Toronto Tankard qualifying round, held September 29 - October 2 at the High Park Club in Toronto, . In their opening game, Edin lost 8-7 to Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 8-5 win over Michael Fournier (Toronto, ON). Edin won 5-4 against Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS), then won 7-4 against Ramsfjell in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard Championship title, Edin earned 41.250 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 38.625 after improving upon their best so far this season. Edin ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 78.750 points earned so far this season.
