Konrad Stych (Warsaw, POL) finished 2-3 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stych defeated Martins Truksans (Riga, LAT) 8-5, then went on to lose 8-6 against Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR). Stych lost 7-1 to Giacomo Colli (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Stych lost 4-2 to Sergio Vez (San Sebastian, ESP) where Stych responded with a 5-4 win over Andres Jakobson (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.

Stych earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 9 of the event schedule, Stych did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Stych ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
