Fujisawa finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Honoka Sasaki (Kitami, JPN) 9-2, then won 7-4 against Miori Nakamura (Aomori, JPN) and 8-3 against Mayu Minami (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the ADVICS Cup Championship title, Fujisawa earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $9,101CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 3rd place overall with 285.510 total points. Fujisawa ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 31.000 points earned so far this season.
