To advance to the championship game, Yoshimura won 6-5 over Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR) in the semifinals
 
Yoshimura finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yoshimura lost 7-6 to Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN), then responded with a 4-2 win over Sae Yamamoto (Sapporo, JPN). Yoshimura won 6-2 against Miori Nakamura (Aomori, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Hokkaido Bank Curling Classic Championship title, Yoshimura earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $9,498CDN first prize cheque. Yoshimura gained 57.259 points improving upon their best 2 events, though dropped 37 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 37thplace overall with 57.259 total points. Yoshimura ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.750 points earned so far this season.
