Yildiz went on to lose 10-4 against Kerri Einarson (Gimli, CAN). Yildiz responded with a 10-7 win over Rebecca Morrison (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Yildiz earned 24.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
