Retornaz won 7-4 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE), then won 9-5 against Sergio Vez (San Sebastian, ESP). Retornaz went on to lose 7-5 against Mouat in their final qualifying round match.
With their third place finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, Retornaz earn 36.000 world rankings points, remaining in 7th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 9.75 after improving upon their best so far this season.
