Peterson lost 7-3 to Kim where Peterson responded with a 5-3 win over Nancy Martin (Saskatoon, SK) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 8-1 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg , SWE) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
Peterson earned 29.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the RBC Dominion Securities Western Showdown, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 35th place overall with 87.297 total points.
