In their opening game, Morrison lost 6-5 to Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN), then responded with a 7-3 win over Madison Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). Morrison went on to lose 6-4 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Morrison responded with a 4-2 win over Beth Farmer (Stirling, SCO). Morrison went on to lose 7-5 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg , SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Morrison earned 5.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 48th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Morrison ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.000 points earned so far this season.
