Koe finished 3-1 in the 16 team IG Wealth Management Western Showdown qualifying round, held October 28 - 31 at the Swift Current Curling Club in Swift Current, Canada. In their opening game, Koe defeated Jordan Peters (Winnipeg, MB) 5-4, then went on to lose 7-5 against Gauthier. Koe responded with a 10-2 win over Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB). Koe won 7-2 against Steve Laycock (Swift Current, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the IG Wealth Management Western Showdown, Koe take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN prize. For week 13 of the event schedule, Koe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 6th place on the World Ranking Standings with 260.706 total points. Koe ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 106.750 points earned so far this season.
