John Epping (Toronto, ON) qualified for the 2022 IG Wealth Management Western Showdown playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). of the 2022 IG Wealth Management Western Showdown in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Epping finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Dallan Muyres (Saskatoon , SK) 10-1, then won 8-2 against Daymond Bernath (Saskatoon, SK). Epping went on to lose 7-5 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Epping responded with a 10-3 win over Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
