To advance to the championship game, Koe won 4-2 over Jacques Gauthier (Victoria, BC) in the semifinals of the 2022 IG Wealth Management Western Showdown in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 7-3 over John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 IG Wealth Management Western Showdown in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Koe finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Jordan Peters (Winnipeg, MB) 5-4, then went on to lose 7-5 against Gauthier. Koe responded with a 10-2 win over Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB). Koe won 7-2 against Steve Laycock (Swift Current, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the IG Wealth Management Western Showdown, Koe take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN prize. For week 13 of the event schedule, Koe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 6th place on the World Ranking Standings with 260.706 total points.
