Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) won 5-3 over Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) in the Final of the Co-op Canadian Open, held January 10 - 15, 2023 in Camrose, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Fujisawa won 7-6 over Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2023 Co-op Canadian Open in Camrose, Alberta; and won 8-7 over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals.
 
Fujisawa finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI) 8-6, then won 8-6 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) and 5-4 against Einarson in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Co-op Canadian Open Championship title, Fujisawa earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $35,000CDN first prize cheque. Fujisawa move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 64.5 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 4th overall with 313.087 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Fujisawa ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 228.250 points earned so far this season.
