To advance to the championship game, Rudzite/Zentelis won 7-1 over Daina Barone/Ritvars Gulbis (Riga, LAT) in the semifinals of the 2021 WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 1 in Riga, Latvia; and won 10-7 over Evita Regza/Aleksandrs Baranovskis (Riga, LAT) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 1 in Riga, Latvia;
 
Rudzite/Zentelis finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. .
