Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) finished 6-2 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) 7-5, then went on to lose 7-3 against Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR). Muirhead lost 8-4 to Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR) where Muirhead responded with a 8-5 win over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Muirhead won 7-4 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER), then won 9-2 against Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST) and 9-5 against Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Muirhead won 8-1 against Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Olympic Qualification Event Championship title, Muirhead earned 64.719 world rankings points. Muirhead move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 40.52 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 4th overall with 345.032 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Muirhead ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 203.040 points earned so far this season.
