Tao finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tao lost 7-1 to Jacques, then responded with a 7-4 win over James Ballance (Okotoks, AB). Tao won 6-1 against Nathan Molberg (St. Albert, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Okotoks Under-25 Tour Spiel, Tao take home 10.877 world rankings points along with the $800CDN prize. For week 7 of the event schedule, Tao did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tao ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
