Kelsey Rocque (Edmotnon, AB) finished 3-1 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rocque lost 10-6 to Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB), then responded with a 7-5 win over Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB). Rocque won 6-5 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 8-5 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Canadian Curling Trials Direct-Entry Event Championship title, Rocque earned 13.875 world rankings points. Rocque move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 11.44 points improving upon their best 2 results so far this season, ranking 13th overall with 130.224 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
