Hasselborg finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg lost 9-4 to Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT), droppimg another game, 6-3 to Homan where Hasselborg responded with a 7-2 win over Eunji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR). Hasselborg won 7-3 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB), then won 5-4 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Princess Auto Players' Championship Championship title, Hasselborg earned 90.492 world rankings points along with the $40,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 1st place overall with 417.589 total points. Hasselborg ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 417.589 points earned so far this season.
