Moulding finished 3-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Moulding defeated Aaron Sluchinski (Red Deer, AB) 3-1, then won 7-1 against Sturmay. Moulding went on to lose 6-3 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Moulding lost 7-1 to Sturmay where Moulding responded with a 7-3 win over Dallan Muyres (Fox Valley, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
