Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE) lost 8-6 to Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE) in the Final of the Swedish Curling Men's Championship, held March 16 - 20, 2022 in Harnosand, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Magnusson won 8-6 over Sven Olsson (Falu, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2022 Swedish Curling Men's Championship in Harnosand, Sweden; and won 10-9 over Fredrik Nyman (Solleftea, SWE) in the quarterfinals.
Magnusson finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Magnusson defeated Mats Svedberg (Silverstenen, SWE) 8-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Nicklas Soderberg (Skelleftea, SWE). Magnusson lost 5-4 to Joel Westerberg (Amatorforeningens, SWE) where Magnusson responded with a 8-3 win over Niclas Perem (Goteborgs, SWE). Magnusson won 6-4 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
