To advance to the championship game, Fenton won 8-7 over Connor Kent (New Westminster, BC) in the semifinals of the 2022 BC U21 Junior Mens Curling Championship in Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Fenton finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenton defeated Mitchell Kopytko (Kamloops, BC) 9-7, then went on to lose 10-2 against Kent. Fenton responded with a 7-6 win over Chris Parkinson (Comox Valley, BC). Fenton went on to lose 8-2 against Deane. Fenton responded with a 7-6 win over Daniel Deng (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Fenton ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
