In their opening game, McPherson defeated Rebecca Molberg (Edmonton, AB) 6-5, then went on to lose 10-2 against Alyssa Nedohin (Sherwood Park, AB). McPherson lost 10-9 to Cuyler Desormeau (Red Deer, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
