McCrady finished 3-1 in the 8 team Torchlight Brewing Classic qualifying round, held September 24 - 26 at the Trail Curling Club in Trail, Canada. In their opening game, McCrady lost 7-6 to Dangerfield, then responded with a 6-5 win over Paul Cseke (Victoria, BC). McCrady won 4-2 against Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC), then won 5-3 against Nobert in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Torchlight Brewing Classic, McCrady take home 11.162 world rankings points along with the $2,800CDN prize, moving up 22 spots the World Ranking Standings into 80th place overall with 28.975 total points. McCrady ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.162 points earned so far this season.
