Workin finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Workin defeated Madison Bear (Chaska, MN) 6-5, then won 10-6 against Meaghan Thomson (Alpharetta, GA). Workin went on to lose 7-5 against Strouse. Workin responded with a 9-7 win over Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN). Workin won 9-4 against McMakin in their final qualifying round match.
