In their opening game, Shannon lost 8-3 to Myla Plett (Airdrie, AB), then responded with a 7-6 win over Jasodra Dieckelt (Calgary, AB). Shannon went on to lose 5-4 against CJ Jackson (Innisfail, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
