Tracy Fleury (East St. Paul, MB) won 9-7 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final To advance to the championship game, Fleury won 8-4 over Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg, RUS) in the semifinals of the GSOC Masters in Oakville, Ontario; and won 6-2 over Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the GSOC Masters in Oakville, Ontario;
 
Fleury finished 3-1 in the 16 team GSOC Masters qualifying round, held October 19 - 24 in , . In their opening game, Fleury defeated Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) 6-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Fleury responded with a 6-5 win over Tori Koana (Fujiyoshida, JPN). Fleury won 8-5 against Einarson in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the GSOC Masters Championship title, Fleury earned 89.100 world rankings points along with the $33,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 13 of the event schedule, Fleury did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fleury ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
