Niepage finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Niepage lost 10-5 to Hall, droppimg another game, 10-3 to Sturmay. Niepage lost 9-2 to Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) where Niepage responded with a 9-5 win over Ryan Grabarczyk (Regina, SK). Niepage won 11-4 against Daniel Bruce (St. John's, NL). Niepage went on to lose 9-7 against Mitchell Katcher (Brandon, MB). Niepage responded with a 7-5 win over Nicholas Lemieux (St. Catharines, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their fourth place finish at the USPORTS - University Curling Championships, Niepage take home 8.978 world rankings points. For week 34 of the event schedule, Niepage did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Niepage ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
