Beth Farmer/Grant Barr (Kinross, SCO) finished 1-3 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Farmer/Barr lost 10-3 to Lauren Gray/Craig Waddell (Stirling, SCO), droppimg another game, 9-1 to Gina Aitken/Scott Andrews (Stirling, SCO) where Farmer/Barr responded with a 8-6 win over Lynsey Spence/Andrew Craigie (Braehead, SCO). Farmer/Barr went on to lose 6-2 against Rebecca Morrison/Robin Brydone (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Farmer/Barr earned 1.644 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 32 of the event schedule, Farmer/Barr did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Farmer/Barr ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
