Beth Rowley/Struan Carson (Ayr, SCO) finished 1-3 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rowley/Carson lost 8-3 to Vicky Wright/Grant Hardie (Stirling, SCO), then responded with a 8-6 win over Lisa Davie/James Craik (Stirling, SCO). Rowley/Carson went on to lose 7-1 against Jayne Stirling/Fraser Kingan (Dumfries, SCO). Rowley/Carson lost 10-4 to Sophie Sinclair/Duncan Menzies (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Rowley/Carson earned 1.644 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 32 of the event schedule, Rowley/Carson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rowley/Carson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
