Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO) lost 6-3 to Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Championships, held February 10 - 15, 2020 in Perth, Scotland.
 
Muirhead finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead lost 7-3 to Mouat, then responded with a 7-3 win over Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO). Muirhead won 6-4 against Cameron Bryce (Kelso, SCO), then won 7-2 against Murray Young (Forfar, SCO) and 9-4 against Luke Carson (Lanarkshire, SCO). Muirhead won 9-4 against Cameron McNay (Lockerbie, SCO). Muirhead went on to lose 5-2 against Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Championships, Muirhead take home 39.031 world rankings points, moving up 19 spots the World Ranking Standings into 27th place overall with 131.928 total points. Muirhead ranks 27th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 131.928 points earned so far this season.
