Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carson lost 9-5 to Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO), droppimg another game, 5-3 to Bill Turner (Dumfries, SCO) where Carson responded with a 9-8 win over Ross Craik (Forfar, SCO). Carson won 8-3 against Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO). Carson went on to lose 8-5 against Jacob Holder (Moray, SCO). Carson lost 7-3 to Hamish Gallacher (Dumfries, SCO) where Carson responded with a 9-6 win over James Craik (Forfar, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Carson earned 1.603 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Carson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Carson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
