Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT) finished 2-7 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaeser lost 4-2 to Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Hayato Sato (New Westminster, BC). Kaeser lost 5-3 to Johnson Tao (Richmond, BC). Kaeser lost 9-7 to Daniel Bruce (St. John's, NL). Kaeser lost 9-3 to Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). Kaeser lost 8-2 to Owen Purdy (Kingston, ON). Kaeser lost 15-1 to Liam Marin (Saint John, NB) where Kaeser responded with a 7-6 win over Jacob Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Kaeser won 7-6 against Greg Cheal (Lennoxville, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Kaeser earned 2.290 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Kaeser did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kaeser ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
