Reed responded with a 9-4 win over Diego Tompkins (Mexico City, MEX) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Reed earned 2.042 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 61 spots the World Ranking Standings into 341st place overall with 3.789 total points. Reed ranks 357th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.042 points earned so far this season.
