Lauren Wagner (Melbourne, AUS) finished 2-5 in the 8 team Pacific-Asia Curling Championships qualifying round, held November 2 - 9, 2019 in , . In their opening game, Wagner defeated Mubarkah Al-Abdulla (Doha, QAT) 12-3, then went on to lose 9-8 against Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG). Wagner lost 10-5 to Un-Chi Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR). Wagner lost 15-2 to Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN) where Wagner responded with a 12-4 win over Sitora Alliyarova (Almaty, KAZ). Wagner went on to lose 13-0 against Heidi Lin (Taipei City, TPE). Wagner lost 11-2 to Yu Han (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

Wagner earned 3.142 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 56 spots the World Ranking Standings into 208th place overall with 3.784 total points. Wagner ranks 172nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.142 points earned so far this season.
